From the pastor

I will use this page for a wide variety of reasons. I will elaborate on things going on in our church life, answer questions about the Bible, reflect on where I believe God is directing us, and so much more. I hope this page proves to be enjoyable and helpful.

FBC SCHEDULING UPDATE (MARCH 26):

Initially, we had canceled all church activities except for worship services (while we encourage people to watch our live-streams and stay home) for a couple of weeks.

FBC SCHEDULING UPDATE (MARCH 26):

Initially, we had canceled all church activities except for worship services (while we encourage people to watch our live-streams and stay home) for a couple of weeks.

As we approach the end of that two week period, we see no change in the circumstances that caused us to put so much of our church life on hold. In fact, it would seem that for the time being things have continued to deteriorate before things start to get better.

With that being the case, we have extended our cancellations for 2 more weeks which will take us up to Easter Sunday. A few days before Easter, we will listen to our national, state, and local officials and determine what course of action we should take at that time.

These are difficult days but I know that we will be fine when this ordeal is over. My prayer that is we would be refined and reenergized by this ordeal. I pray that we would be even more holy and more missional so that we are even more useful to the Master.

I love ya, FBC!
