In the evening service (6 PM on August 30), we will have a special called business meeting solely for the purpose of considering an upgrade to our sanctuary cameras and speakers. In this video, I answer a few of the questions that I anticipated. It is my desire for everyone to inform themselves so that we can come to the meeting informed and prepared to move in the direction we believe the Lord is leading. Be Honest When You Pray

Far too many of our prayers are tame, predictable, dishonest, and boring. If we are bored with our prayer time, so is God.

In this article, I call the reader to be honest, blatantly and maybe even painfully honest, with the Lord in prayer. I point to the Psalmist as my example for this kind of brutal honesty as we approach God's throne in prayer.

Update on Church Scheduling

FBC SCHEDULING UPDATE (MARCH 26):

Initially, we had canceled all church activities except for worship services (while we encourage people to watch our live-streams and stay home) for a couple of weeks.
