Matt was saved at the age of 8. He surrendered to the call to ministry in his early 20's and graduated from Lexington Baptist College (Lexington, KY) with a Bachelor of Arts in 1994. He started work on his Master's Degree at Mid-America Baptist Theological Seminary (Memphis, TN) but eventually transferred to the Southern Baptist Theological Seminary (Louisville, KY) and received his Master's degree in 2005. On May 10, 1997, he married his sweetheart, Kim, the best decision of his life, second only to the day he gave his life to Jesus. He is the proud father of three sons, Zach (and his wife Dani), Sean, and Joseph. He has pastored 3 churches before becoming the Pastor of First Baptist Church of Polk City in the summer of 2019.

Joey was saved in 1993 when he was a freshman in high school, He pursued his love of music and received a Bachelor of Arts in Church Music from the Baptist College of Florida in 2002. He married his sweetheart, Cathy, in July 2010. Now, his desire is to help lead others to worship our great God through music every time he leads in worship.

Hobbies: Jaime enjoys spending time with her family and living a simple life. She enjoys learning more and more about Jesus through His Word.

Jaime surrendered her life to Christ in March 2008. Since then, she met her wonderful husband, Andrew, and they were married in March of 2010. When she's not at home enjoying life with her beautiful family, she loves serving the Lord through First Baptist Church. She has been the Administrative Assistant at FBC since August 2017.
